Intro
molds for sugar need to be
- safe for consumption (even if not directly wallowed)
- hold at temperature of +160c
- sugar base goes up to 146C but better safe
when making multiple impressions in a single mold, silicon+cornstarch method falls short.

RTVs
watchout for
- Viscosity - higher numbers mean running slower
- shelf life - always look at datasheet
- 20 month sometimes less. the smoothOn was opened and was all stiff
- the platinum base was much more viscous a day after opening. not a good sign.
volume
we tried water, kuskus and polymorph pellets.
but best is to calc
calculate 3d volume from simplify3D = 22.5 per bit
